Ancient China

Complete Study Guides   We've now covered every element of doing a complete study guide and you've received back a corrected study guide indicating the strengths and weaknesses of your approach.

It's time, now, to learn from your mistakes by producing another study guide on Ancient China. In this study guide, you will indicate:
  • Hierarchies of information: you need to separate out the most important from the least important information.
  • Significance: the significance of all information you've selected to be included in your study guide.
  • Topics: an overall sense of the topics covered in the text.
  • Theses: an overall description of the arguments being made in the text.
In addition, I want you to include at the beginning of the study guide exactly what you've done differently on this study guide as compared to what you did on the previous study guide. I also, however, want you to indicate how you've applied your successes from this course to approaching this assignment.

The Assignment

For General Education 110

For this assignment you are to produce a study guide using the guidelines above for the material on Ancient China. Make sure that your study guide indicates the topics and theses of the text and distinguishes important from less important information. Make sure as well that you indicate and describe the significance of the information that you're including; the significance should apply as precisely as possible to the information that you're applying it to.
